Update: Secondary Schools Open May 4

The OSSTF teachers’ union is obliged to serve five days notice of their intention to take strike action. At this point in time, the WRDSB has not received this notice. Therefore secondary schools will be open as usual on May 4.

Guess What? @ The Rotunda Gallery

The Rotunda Gallery is an open-concept space located on the ground floor at Kitchener city hall.  In May, the gallery celebrates Youth with an exhibit by students of Waterloo-Oxford District Secondary School.  You are invited to a reception to be held at the gallery on Tuesday, May 12, 6-8 p.m.

W-O Creates Volleyball Bins for U of W

WODSS was asked to build bins for the University of Waterloo Volleyball team to store the volleyballs. Mr. Shantz’s construction class built the bins and Ms Jackson’s Communication Technology class created the vinyl stickers for the logos. WODSS Wins Powerlifting Overall Best Team

The Waterloo-Oxford Powerlifting team participated in the Waterloo Region Powerlifting Competition held on April 18 at Glenview Park Secondary School.  Isabeau Glebe and Payton Hoffstetter won gold in their divisions.  Justin Ehgotez, CJ Jovanovic, Thomas Lade and Zac Wagler won silver and Chris Williamson earned a bronze medal.  Congratulations to the entire team on winning the Overall Best Team title!IMG_0356
