Student Activities Council (SAC)
The Student Activities Council at W-O has the pleasure of representing students’ interests and organizing the wide variety of activities at Waterloo-Oxford. The Students Activities Council is facilitated by SAC Advisor and Leadership Teachers Josh Cowan, Rachel Swanson and Dustin VanHouwelingen.
This past fall students elected the leaders of the Student Activities Council for the 2023-2024: Co-Presidents, along with a group of roughly 120 students each year who apply to be a part of the Student Activities Council. This group enrolls in the Leadership Class (IDC 30X, IDC30Y or IDC 4UX, IDC4UY) and takes a lead role in student activities. They are organized into committees that look after various aspects of “leaving W-O a better place than we found it.”
