Welcome to the 2024-2025 School Year!
To ensure that all our new Grade 9’s are prepared for learning we are providing an opportunity for students to pick up their Chromebooks and preliminary timetables before the first day of school.
When can I pick up my Chromebook?
Grade 9 students are invited to pick up their Chromebooks on Tuesday, August 27th at the following times:
Students with the last name A-K – pick up between 7:45 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
Students with the last name L-Z – pick up between 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Where do I go when I arrive?
- Please park in the front parking lot of the school
- Come to the main doors
- A member of our staff will be in the foyer to distribute the Chromebooks.
- A parent/guardian must review and complete the digital copy Chromebook 1:1 Agreement (Google Form) online, prior to pick up.
What should I bring?
If the parent or guardian has completed the digital copy of the Chromebook 1:1 Agreement (Google Form) you don’t need to bring anything.
If you are unable to complete the digital Chromebook 1: Agreement (Google Form) online, you may review and print of the hard copy version of the form. We will also have printed copies available at pick up to be reviewed and signed by parent/guardian.
What if I cannot make it on August 27th?
Don’t worry, students who cannot pick up their Chromebook on Tuesday, August 27th have two options:
- Call us at (519) 634-5441 and arrange for a pick-up on August 28th between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
- Pick up their device in IST Office on the first day of school (just outside the Library).
- Unfortunately, we cannot allow someone else to pick up the Chromebook in your place.
