Waterloo Oxford student Ben MacLaurin has been awarded a KW Legacy scholarship.

This locally created $5000 scholarship is designed to support future community leaders as they enter into post-secondary education.
Award winners possess certain characteristics:
– a life of service
– community leadership
– a commitment to school activities

We are so proud of Ben and his achievement. He intends on attending Laurier in the fall and hopes to follow in his parents footsteps and pursue the teaching profession.
