Thanks to everyone who contributed to our successful Relay for Life! Waterloo-Oxford raised over $87,000.00 for the Canadian Cancer Society. These funds are used to support Canada’s most promising cancer research and vital support services for people with cancer and their families. With your help, the Society has been able to impact so many lives. Thank you to our W-O community for your support! On June 3 and 4 teams of 7-15 people took turns walking for 12 hours to honour those who have beaten the disease, those who are suffering from the disease, and those who have lost their battle. We walked to raise funds for cancer research to hopefully one day conquer the disease that affects so many people in our community. We had a great time doing it, while staying up all night.
