School Trip — New York City
Posted May 6, 2015
From April 21-26 Waterloo Oxford Business and Geography students traveled to New York City. The jam packed itinerary included a walking tour of Central Park, a back stage tour of Radio City Music Hall, the 9/11 Memorial, Amateur Night at the Apollo Theater, a visit to the Top of the Rockefeller Center, and the off-broadway show Stomp. In addition, other NYC neighbourhoods were toured, including Chinatown, SoHo, the financial district, 5th Avenue, Times Square and a walk of the High Line. Both the travel and tourism classes, and marketing classes got to engage in experiential learning while seeing some of the city’s highlights. A great time was had by all in attendance! For those students enrolled in these courses next year, be on the look out for information about the 2016 NYC trip coming in the not too distant future.
