Semester Schedule Update

Waterloo-Oxford Administration and the Semester Implementation Team have proposed the following timetable for our first year as a semester school in 2017-18. The key features of the timetable are: 75 minute periods, a 2 day cycle and a 60 minute common lunch. The C and D afternoon periods ‘flip’ on Day Two so that student athletes don’t always miss the same period. Day One is on odd days of the month. Day Two is on even days of the month. WODSS Students Medal in World Championship

Congratulations to our W-O students for their medal winning performances at the World Championship for kickboxing and karate in Dublin, Ireland. Kurtis Proksch won a gold medal in kickboxing and a bronze in karate and Sierra Haskett brought home a bronze in karate. The competition took place from October 28 to November 4, 2016. Festival of Holiday Music Concert on Thursday, December 1st.

Please join us for an evening of music at our Festival of Holiday Music on Thursday, December 1 at 7:30pm. The concert will feature all of the instrumental and vocal groups from WO Music. Tickets are available at school during lunch or from the main office and cost $7 for adults, $5 for children and seniors, or $18 for a family. The concert has sold out for the last three years so tickets may not be available at the door. Come out and enjoy the show!
