WODSS Starts Best Buddies Canada Chapter

Waterloo-Oxford is proud to announce that we have joined Best Buddies Canada. Best Buddies is a friendship program that connects individuals with intellectual challenges to a peer. The goal of Best Buddies Canada is that it “gives people with intellectual disabilities the chance to have experiences which most people take for granted – going for hot chocolate, out to a movie, or simply enjoying the company of a good friend.” We look forward to the connections and community that our students are building in our school.
