W-O Chapter of Best Buddies Celebrates Canada’s 150th
Posted June 8, 2017
Our Waterloo-Oxford Best Buddies celebrated Canada’s 150th with a year-end gathering that involved friendship, fun, games and having lunch together. Happy 150th Canada! Best Buddies is a friendship program that connects individuals with intellectual challenges to a peer. The goal of Best Buddies Canada is that it “gives people with intellectual disabilities the chance to have experiences which most people take for granted – going for hot chocolate, out to a movie, or simply enjoying the company of a good friend.” Thanks to all our participants in the Best Buddies program.
