CWOSSAA Championship — Bantam Boys Rugby

Congratulations to the Bantam boys rugby team who had an exceptional day on May 25 and won the CWOSSAA Championship with wins over: SJAM 25-0; St. Johns 12-10; and, the final over JF Ross 15-0. The Provincial Championship (Barbarian Cup) will be held in Fergus on June 4/5.

Our annual Music Awards Night was a fantastic evening celebrating another wonderful year of music at Waterloo-Oxford! A lovely dinner, followed by recognition of our musicians and their contributions throughout the year was enjoyed by parents, students and staff. WODSS Student Accepted to Royal Canadian Air Cadet Summer Program

Congratulations to Grade 9 student, Narein Chenthivelnathan, on his acceptance to the Royal Canadian Air Cadets summer program of Advanced Aviation Technology – Airport Operations. The annual national program offers a very select number of cadets from across Canada the opportunity to participate in a unique 6 week summer program. Candidates are chosen through a rigorous application process of narratives and interviews to be eligible for this advanced specialty training course. Cadets are also selected to attend based on attributes that they have demonstrated throughout the cadet training year. Narein would like to thank the teachers that helped him with the application process, especially Mrs. Stewart and Mrs. Steffler. Way to go Narein!
