Students win Legion Poetry Contest

Congratulations to Waterloo-Oxford students Skylar Haley (3rd), Will Sargeant (2nd) and Ezra Koch (1st) for submitting the winning poetry entries in the Royal Canadian Legion’s (Branch 532) Remembrance Literary Contest (Senior Division), pictured here alongside Reginald Kirby and Ross Eichler.

Ezra’s poem will continue on and be judged at the Legion’s provincial level.

Schools reopen December 19

All WRDSB elementary and secondary schools will reopen for students on December 19 following the one-day rotating OSSTF strike. Before and after school programs will reopen and student transportation will operate as normal. We want to thank everyone for their patience during this time.
