Waterloo-Oxford’s Native Studies class held an indigenous celebration as part of their course on Thursday, May 17. The celebration commenced with smudging, then students enjoyed fresh fry bread baked by their teacher, Ms Parker, as they shared stories and friendship around a fire. Everyone appreciated the celebration as part of the Native Studies course and all they are learning during the semester.
