We wanted to let you know about an upcoming Community Event.
On Wednesday, March 8th at 7 pm the Waterloo Regional Police will be making a presentation about increasing our knowledge of substance abuse trends. They will help us understand which substances they are seeing in the local community.
We will also hear from a local mother who has walked this path personally. She will be sharing some stories.
Interfaith Community Counselling will be on site to share more about the importance of shedding the stigma when talking about substance use, addiction, and mental health. They will also be sharing information on local support services.
This event will be held at the New Hamburg Lanes on Wednesday, March 8th at 7 pm.
