Welcome back to all returning students and a warm welcome to all new grade 9 students joining us this year!  We are so excited to welcome our students back to daily in-person learning for the full school day.

This year secondary schools will be using a modified semester model that allows students to return to school for full days and to take four courses instead of two. Students would take two courses one week and their other two courses the next week.  Below you will find some important updates about what learning in-person at school will look like this year.

Health & Safety Information

The WRDSB and W-O are committed to ensuring the health and safety of our students, staff and community members and will ensure our schools continue to operate safely.

Masks are mandatory for all students while on the bus, and in the building (except while eating lunch).

Students will need to monitor their health daily prior to coming to school.

Each day – students must complete the Ontario School Screener (bookmark it on your phone or Chromebook for quick access)

If you are sick or experiencing symptoms consistent with COVID-19 or respiratory illness, you are not to attend school. Please have a parent or guardian phone or email the school’s attendance line (519-634-5441).

If you experience symptoms while at school, you will need to report this to your teacher immediately.

Parents and Guardians are asked to help your students with their daily health check prior to sending them to school.

We appreciate your patience and look forward to seeing you next week.
