The Wrestling Team has been busy in the last couple of weeks.
After a long exam break, the wrestlers headed to Bluevale on February 7th for their last regular-season tournament of the year.
Gold Medal winners were Olivia Lichti and Lexi Stumpf
Silver Medal winners were Carson Binkle and Rachel Hall
Antique Bronze went to Alex Elkeer.
Overall our team placed 7th out of 21 teams competing, our Boys team placed 13 and the Girls placed 4th.
On February 13th the team gave it they’re all at the WCSSAA Championships and as a result, eight wrestlers earned a trip to the CWOSSA Championships in Centre-Wellington next week. Gold Medal Winners were Rachel Hall, Olivia Lichti and Lexi Stumpf. Silver Medal winners were, Carson Binkle, and Jaxsen Lubbers and the Bronze Medal winners were Dylan Bauman, Alex Elkeer and Clayton Roth.
