Thank you to the 100 Women of Wilmot Who Care chapter for their generous donation of $10,000 to the Waterloo-Oxford District Secondary School Student Assistance Fund! This fund helps students who may not otherwise be able to afford the cost of participating in a team, club or event. For families in financial need who are struggling with the fee for their daughter/son to be able to attend a field trip, purchase a student card or other items, this fund is available so that all youth have equal access and opportunity to be involved and included in W-O. If you require financial assistance to participate at school, please speak to your Guidance Counsellor.
100 Women Who Care Wilmot is based on the simple concept of bringing together 100 local women (or more) to make a large impact within the community.
100 Women Who Care Wilmot consists of approximately 100 registered members who are committed to seeing their charitable efforts have a direct and immediate local impact. Every member who registers is committed to donating $400 a year: $100 each meeting, 4 times a year, to 4 different charities.
Thank you 100 Women of Wilmot Who Care for making such a difference in the lives of students in need at Waterloo-Oxford District Secondary School.
