Waterloo-Oxford DSS Students Experience Europe – March 12 to 20, 2016

Thirty-five W-O students traveled with staff to Europe over March break visiting many historical sites such as: Vimy Ridge, Dieppe, Beny-sur-Mer D-Day cemetery, and one of the Mulberry harbours that still sits on Gold beach (Arromanches, France).

Waterloo-Oxford DSS Appassionata Choir Performs at Zion United Church

Our own Appassionata Choir of 50 talented Waterloo-Oxford singers gave a beautiful performance at Zion United Church on Sunday, April 3, 2016. Minister of Education Visits Waterloo-Oxford DSS

Ontario Minister of Education, Liz Sandals, visited Waterloo-Oxford District Secondary School on Tuesday, March 29 to share details about the Ontario Student Grant program which ensures financial aid for post-secondary education for students from low-income families.
