August 20th, 2025
Welcome to the 2025-2026 School Year!
To ensure that all our new Grade 9’s are prepared for learning we are providing an opportunity for students to pick up their Chromebooks and preliminary timetables before the first day of school.
When can I pick up my Chromebook?
Grade 9 students are invited to pick up their Chromebooks on Thursday, August 28th at the following times:
Students with the last name A-K – pick up between 7:45 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
Students with the last name L-Z – pick up between 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Where do I go when I arrive?
- Please park in the front parking lot of the school
- Come to the main doors
- A member of our staff will be in the foyer to distribute the Chromebooks.
- A parent/guardian must review and complete the digital copy Chromebook 1:1 Agreement (Google Form) online, prior to pick up.
What if I cannot make it on August 28th?
Grade 9 students who cannot pick up their Chromebook on Thursday, August 28th have two options:
- Call us at (519) 634-5441 and arrange for a pick-up on August 29th between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
- Pick up their device in the IST Office on the first day of school (just outside the Library).
- Unfortunately, we cannot allow someone else to pick up the Chromebook in your place.
We are looking forward to welcoming all our new Grade 9 Students to Waterloo Oxford in just a couple of weeks!
