October 16th, 2026
We are looking forward to welcoming everyone to our Meet the Teacher Night on Thursday, October 22 from 6:00 pm until 8:30 pm.
Meet the Teacher Night is a great opportunity to meet your student’s teachers and discuss their progress. Teachers will be seated in the cafeteria, library and the small gymnasium to meet with families/guardians throughout the evening. There will be student greeters and guides to help you find your way around the school. No appointments are necessary.
Please note, due to ongoing construction in the school the back doors by the cafeteria are not open. Please feel free to use any of the other entrance points:
- Tech wing doors (back parking lot)
- Port-a-pack doors (back parking lot)
- Bus turn around doors (between Sir Adam Beck and WO)
Next week, teachers will be reaching out to parents and caregivers for any students that are not currently successfully passing their courses. If you have any concerns, and are not able to make it to Meet the Teacher night on Thursday please feel free to contact the teacher directly.
This year, the Ontario Ministry of Education has included attendance and participation as part of the assessment for all courses in Grades 9 through 12. Teachers will be discussing participation and attendance in each class with their students by the end of next week. If you or your student have any questions or concerns about participation in class, please contact their teacher.
