On Saturday, May 9, 2015, the Grade 11 Entrepreneurship class from Waterloo-Oxford will be holding a charity event benefitting an international development organization called World Accord. The focus will be raising money to purchase bikes to help impoverished female entrepreneurs in Nepal build and sustain their ventures. The event will be held outdoors at the school during the day, consisting of a road hockey tournament, carnival activities, a musical performance by local singer Scotty James, a raffle, barbeque and café. There will be a chance to win 4 different bikes, multiple different gift cards, and more! The theme of the day is “Play-2-Ride.” Come on out and play, so that women in Nepal can ride!
